• Your legal name, institutional email address, and academic/historical affiliations.
• Vessel registrations, hull dimensions, and watercraft weight configurations for safety check-ins at Level 0 locks.
• Digital identifier elements, including network logs, device platforms, and browser metadata.

2. How We Use Sub-Surface Security Data

In addition to web-based reservations, Libraries Tunnelsy tracks active transponders inside the water tunnels for safety. This physical location data is used solely to prevent vessel collisions inside the single-lane channels of Zone Beta and Zone Gamma. Data is permanently purged from our servers 48 hours after your research excursion concludes.

3. Biometric Security & Gate Logs

Access to Level -2 (Deep Archives) utilizes isolated airlock chambers. Fingerprint scanning or retinal validation logs are handled by localized air-gapped security terminals and are never transmitted over the public web or shared with external third-party software networks.

4. Data Storage, Encryption, and Archiving

Our server architecture is physically housed in our Level -1 dry-nitrogen computer bays, utilizing the ocean floor's ambient thermal chillers for cooling. All user transaction records are secured with TLS 1.3 encryption and stored within databases completely disconnected from commercial analytics packages.

Even though our physical vaults rest in Boston Harbor, we respect global researcher rights. You maintain complete control over your private records:
