Visiting Scholar Pre-Arrival Protocols

Because Level -2 is highly protected, all approved researchers must satisfy the following safety rules prior to final boarding at Pier 42.

Standard Physical Regulations

Anti-Static Footwear: All scholars must wear non-scuff, vibration-dampening rubber-soled shoes inside the floating study chambers.
Static Glove Allocation: Handling of cartography older than 1800 requires specialized chemical-resistant nitrile gloves provided at check-in.
Strict Air Lock Constraints: Transferring between the Level 0 lock and the Level -2 gas vaults requires an atmospheric equilibration period of 3 minutes inside the double-sealed decompression pod.
Academic Intent Verification: All manuscript bookings require an active credentials file submitted via institutional institutional email verification.
